Unique Characteristics Video

Wade Bowcutt asks Jeffrey Pettingill why the Perennial Sowthistle is unique. Jeffrey explains that compared to Canada and other thistles this weed does not have all the stickers and thorns completely up and down the plant. The leaves and stems are a little thorny, but not bad at all. It is in the Aster Family like the Canada Thistle and has this nice beautiful seed head that has lots of seeds. He brings the seed head close to the camera and then holds his hand up and lets the wind blow them away. He notes they can go for a long ways. He concludes by saying " That right there is what Wade and I call job security."
