On August 3, 2006 Wade Bowcutt, Jefferson County Weed Control Superintendent and Jeffrey Pettingill, Bonneville County Weed Control Superintendent, are examining this Perennial Sowthistle noxious weed field that is actually located in Madison County. Jeffrey notes that they are about two miles south of Rexburg. This piece of land was developed with ponds for fishing and waterfowl and has all been disturbed. Now landowners are trying to clean up the weeds. Perennial Sowthistle is a unique plant that starts to invade an area very slowly and then all of a sudden - boom - it is every where.
Note that there are several video "hot spots" available which provide a lot more detailed information.
